Marufuji Sho is very sweet and has very low self-esteem. He has a Vehicle deck and probably isn't the best duelist (His rank is 119 out of 150.), but he enjoys dueling and that's the true meaning of games right? -_-;

Anyways, he calls Yuki "aniki" and consider's him his "heart's brother". While Sho is quite insecure, Yuki is confident, and Sho is amazed by him. Sho's REAL brother, Ryo, is in Obelisk Blue and looks down upon Sho because he's just a "weakling". This would obviously make Sho unhappy, so Sho really looks up to Yuki. If you haven't watched any GX yet, Sho is basically your Yuugi without the yami. ^_^

This new series takes place on Seto's elite dueling academy (GX stands for Next Generation, or Generation Next). There are 3 dorms: Obelisk Blue, Ra Yellow, and Osiris Red. Each student takes an entrance test (consisting of a writing test and dueling test) Depending on their scores, they are sent to one of these dorms. Obelisk Blue is for the most elite duelists (No surprises here, eh? This IS Seto's academy.) and Osiris Red is for the, well, worst ("drop-out" students).

The main character of this series is Yuki Judai, who is late to his entrance exam, therefore receiving a bad mark on his writing test, therefore being sent to Osiris Red (even though he aced his duel).

Here he meets Sho, who's being gloomy because the Osiris dorm room looks horrible. But Judai doesn't care that he's in Osiris Red. In fact, he says he likes the good view and environment and the color red anyways. Besides, he came here to duel and have fun!

There's a teacher named Chronos who hates Judai and keeps trying to get him into trouble, ever since Judai humiliated (not purposely) and defeated him in a duel. It's a really fun series and the duels are excellent! And the best part is, Sho's in every episode! ^_^


Sho is adorable and WAY too innocent and nice for his own good! I just HAD to make a fanlisting for him! ^_^ Aniki is what Sho calls Judai. Yah, well, I'll admit I was a bit braindead. >.<
